At New Forest Clinics every single patient is important to us. We pride ourselves in providing individual advice and care for our patients, both young and old, in a friendly and relaxed environment. We believe that a structured approach to care is critical to a successful outcome and strive to provide this.
Often, patients present to us with a lack of understanding of their complaint and the options that they have with regards to the possible intervention and care – initially our target is to Empower Patients with this knowledge.
To achieve this your clinician at New forest Clinics will take a thorough history of your complaint and make an appropriate examination. This process usually takes an hour. If further information is required in terms of special tests (scans, blood tests etc) this will be explained and organised.
Once your diagnosis has been explained to you and a management plan suggested, You can then decide if you wish to proceed. It is important to us that you feel in control of your Treatment.
Treatment is always a team process involving both the clinician and patient and we strive to provide support to our patients throughout their management – our service is not consultative and not rushed, and we encourage our patients to take ownership of their complaint, to enable us to address it together.
Every day, our goal is to make a difference for every single patient that we see.
